LG Launches New Microwave Line

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J.-LG Electronics has expanded its lineup of microwaves with features such as convection and sensor-cooking technologies.

The new units include the Over-the-Range Convection Microwave, with convection technology that enables the product to serve as a second oven; the Over-the-Range Microwave, with LG's trademarked Extenda Vent which covers the entire cooking surface for more complete ventilation of the kitchen; the Countertop Microwave with Oven, with a 1,400-watt pizza drawer and 1,000-watt microwave that can cook and bake at the same time; and three Countertop Microwaves--one with True Cook Plus patented technology and sensor-cooking technology, the second with True Cook Plus and an Easy Clean interior that cleans without the use of chemicals, and the third with 1.4 cubic feet of capacity, 1,200 watts of power, sensor cooking and one-touch settings, and a child-lock button that enables parents to lock the keypad.

The new units bring LG's total microwave lineup to about 30 models.
