Lifetime to Make and Distribute Bagel Biter

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.-Lifetime Brands has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Larien Products to manufacture and distribute the Bagel Biter, The Original Bagel Guillotine worldwide to consumers. Bagel Biter is a patented manual bagel slicer that uses a guillotine design to slice bagels safely.

Lifetime Brands will begin shipping Bagel Biter products in October 2011. In the interim, Larien Products will continue to fulfill all retail sales.

Larry Sklute, president, kitchenware for Lifetime Brands, said, "The Bagel Biter is a strong addition to Lifetime's brand assortment, bringing a proven food preparation solution to our already strong assortment of kitchen tools and gadgets . . . The Bagel Biter performs well at retail and we have great expectations for future sales."
