LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-Hearthware's infomercial for its NuWave Pro Infrared Oven was named the 2012 Infomercial of the Year by Jordan Whitney, which monitors cable and broadcast media.

The award is one of Jordan Whitney's Greensheet Awards for Infomercial, and eligible productions include all the new infomercials reviewed by the company in its reports during the calendar year of 2011. The infomercial details the features of the NuWave Pro Infrared Oven, and is designed to support retail as well as direct sales by increasing awareness and demand for the product.

Last year, an infomercial for the NuWave Pro won Jordan Whitney's Best Housewares Infomercial designation.

The NuWave Pro combines infrared, conduction and convection heat to broil, roast, bake, barbecue, steam, dehydrate and air-fry food.
