Pace, Sarwate In New Hearthware Posts

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-Hearthware has named Alice Pace and Becky Sarwate to newly created positions in the company.

Pace has joined Hearthware as patissiere (baker), reporting to Jennifer Epker Dawes, executive chef. Her responsibilities include creating and testing recipes for the company's product line, including the NuWave Pro Infrared Oven and the NuWave Mini Infrared Oven. She also assists in the recipe and instructional videos that appear the NuWave oven owners' exclusive website, nuwavecookingclub.com.

Sarwate has been named senior manager of social media marketing/head writer, and reports to David Kaplan, director of online marketing. She develops online content for Hearthware's websites, and is responsible for executing social-media strategy, assisting in the development of direct-marketing television scripts and promotions, and editing content for cookbooks, manuals and other materials.

Before taking on her new role, Pace worked in Hearthware's customer-service department. Sarwate's career includes positions with the American Dental Association, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Ahlbeck & Co., ePageCity, the Chicago Office of Tourism and Think Glink Publishing.
