Panasonic Launches Facial Ionic Steamer

SECAUCUS, N.J.-Panasonic has debuted the Facial Ionic Steamer, a facial system that uses nano-sized particle ionic steam to hydrate the sensitive areas of the face and neck.

With regular use, the facial steamer stimulates the skin to decrease the appearance of fine lines in skin, according to a company statement. After four weeks of use, the statement said, the steamer is clinically shown to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture, luster and moisture.

A complete steaming cycle takes 11 minutes. The nano-particle steam, which is 4,000 times finer than average steam, helps moisture penetrate deeper into the skin to open pores for a deeper and thorough cleansing, Panasonic said.

The company is offering the Facial Ionic Steamer at a suggested retail price of $399.99, and is selling it through specialty retailers and its website, panasonic.com. The steamer joins Panasonic's line of beauty products, which now encompasses, epilators, electric shavers, trimmers, eyelash curlers and facial groomers.
