Panasonic Launches JetTurn Vacuums

NEW YORK-Panasonic has debuted the JetTurn line of vacuum cleaners, which feature a swivel nozzle to help the user steer around furniture and other tight areas of the home.

The line is available in a teal-colored model, the MC-UL810, and a green version, the MC-UL815. Both models include an automatic cord real for neat and compact storage. The JetTurn models are also Panasonic's lightest upright vacuum cleaners, weighing 15 pounds.

The JetTurn is designed with a 12-amp motor that provides powerful suction for the pickup of dirt and lint. It also features a bagless cyclonic system, which helps prevent suction loss, with a washable filter and a bottom-drop dust cup that is easy to clean and remove.

Many expected 2016 would be a banner year, but the political and economic climate softened consumer confidence. It was also a year consumers spent more lavishly on home remodeling rather than decorating.
