Peanuts Prove Profitable, Says Gibson

COMMERCE, Calif.-Gibson Overseas, Inc. reports a spike in sales of its Peanuts licensed dinnerware that mirrors the brand's strong network television ratings for recent telecasts of classic seasonal Char-

lie Brown programming.


"Now, our spring and summer dinnerware assortments are the perfect follow up to our Halloween and Christmas themes," said Gene Adler, marketing director. "Millions of consumers continue to love seasonal Peanuts content and products, whether on television or retail shelves. Our sales have kept pace with the demand for all things Charlie Brown."


Gibson's open stock, melamine Pop collection includes colorful dinner plates, bowls, tumblers and mugs. PDQ stocking options are also available. Suggested retail prices range from $1.49  for bowls and tumblers to $2.99 for travel mugs.


"Peanuts works for every season. With this fun assortment, Snoopy and the gang are ready for the picnics and outdoor family gatherings that are around the corner," Adler said.
