Shad Named to Head Viking Range Sales, Market and Revenue Activities

GREENWOOD, Miss.-Viking Range has appointed Jim Shad executive vice president and chief revenue officer, new positions for the home appliance manufacturer.

Shad has assumed responsibility for the company's sales, go-to-market and revenue-generation functions both domestically and internationally. Along with North America, he oversees Viking Range's expansion international sales, which presently consists of 40 distributors in more than 80 markets around the world. He reports to CEO Fred Carl Jr. and is a member of the company's executive committee.

Before joining Viking Range, Shad president of LG U.S., in which he led that firm's consumer-electronics and major-appliance businesses in the United States.
