Spectrum Opens Walmart Support Center in Bentonville

MADISON, Wis.-Spectrum Brands has opened a support center for Walmart in the retailer's headquarters community of Bentonville, Ark.

Measuring 23,000 square feet, the facility includes office and showroom space for Spectrum's brands, which include Remington in men's shavers and the Russell Hobbs housewares brands from its merger last year with the firm formerly known as Salton Inc.

Along with providing support to Walmart on its products, the center is an initiative toward benefiting the Bentonville community, said Dave Lumley, Spectrum's chief executive officer. Housing the product line under one roof "will streamline and enhance our partnership while simultaneously providing positive benefits to the community at large," Lumley said.
