Vitamix Renews CIA License

 CLEVELAND-Vitamix has renewed its licensee program with The Culinary Institute of America (CIA).

 

The license covers the company's line of CIA-branded professional blending equipment for the consumer market. The Vitamix CIA Professional Series features a BPA-free container, a 2-plus peak horsepower motor, laser-cut stainless steel blades and a continuous variable-speed dial that ranges from 1,000 to 24,000 revolutions per minute.

 

The product also comes with the "Recipes and Techniques from CIA Master Chefs" cookbook and a one-hour instructional DVD hosted by Michael Symon, a celebrity chef and CIA graduate.
