Wesley Named Chairman of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters

WATERBURY, Vt.-The board of directors of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, parent of the Keurig line of brewers and single-cup coffee portion packs, has elected Norman H. Wesley chairman.

Wesley succeeds Michael Mardy, who had served as interim chairman since last May, succeeding Robert Stiller in that position. Mardy is continuing in his role as chairman of Green Mountain's audit committee. Wesley, former chairman and CEO of Fortune Brands, was named to the Green Mountain board in August.

In addition, the board has appointed A.D. "David" Mackay, former president and CEO of Kellogg Co., as an independent director. Mackay's selection increases the Green Mountain board to 10 members, eight of whom are independent.
