LEDucation to Take Place This Week

NEW YORK-Today is the last day for online registration of LEDucation, an event dedicated to advancing the education of the lighting community on LED technology. Organized by the Designers Lighting Forum (DFL) of New York, it will take place this Wednesday, March 21, at the Hotel Pennsylvania here. Onsite registration will be available on Wednesday.

The seminars and expo will begin at 10 a.m. Session topics will include "LED Standards Update & Energy Star," "LED in the Retail Environment," "LED's: The Move to a Digital World;" and "LED Control: Turn Off the Dark;" all are eligible for Continuing Educational Units (CEU). In conjunction with the seminars, a special exposition is available for attendees to view the latest LED luminaires, controls and energy efficient designs and advancements from more than 95 leading LED manufacturers, and is open until 8 p.m. Last year's event saw an attendance of more than 1,800.
