Monte Carlo Brand Now Available Through Murray Feiss

EVANSTON, Ill.-Generation Brands has re-aligned its portfolio so its Monte Carlo Fans brand will be managed and available through its Murray Feiss company, effective January 2012. The new strategy will allow Monte Carlo to better service its showroom customers as well as design complementary lighting and fan products across the two brands, and customers will be able to order both brands on one invoice, receive one shipment and pay one bill. Monte Carlo was formerly managed by Sea Gull Lighting.

"We are making this strategic move to enable our businesses to more closely focus on their core strengths and customers -- Sea Gull with the builders' market and Murray Feiss/Monte Carlo with the showroom channel," said Joe Higgins, CEO, Generation Brands. "We are confident this move will make our companies easier to do business with and will continue to strengthen our broad product offering for the showroom channel."

"We're excited to have the Monte Carlo brand available as part of the Murray Feiss offering, and we see tremendous opportunity to grow the Monte Carlo business and build upon its current success," said Maria Scutaro, vice president, sales and marketing for Murray Feiss. "This company has a strong product foundation and is a trusted brand with a commitment to quality, innovation and service."
