RIPON, Wis.-Gerald Brady, former vice president and chief financial officer for mattress manufacturer IBC, has died. He was 77.

Brady served in those positions with IBC from 1991 until his retirement in 2005. After retiring, he was a consultant to Leon Ellman, then chairman of IBC. Before joining IBC, he was vice president and treasurer of Sealy, and also held various management positions with Stearns & Foster and Lifetime Foam.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; his daughter, Carol Ann; his son, Gerald Jr.; and two stepchildren, Jeffrey and Kimberly Peck. A funeral mass will be held on March 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church here.
