An 18-year mattress-industry veteran, Hige had been vice president of manufacturing since joining the company in 2008.

In another move, International Bedding has promoted Dennis Strailly vice president of sales, reporting to Hige. In his new role, Strailly oversees all residential and contract sales functions.
