Hill, Smalling Named to New Roles in Simmons Specialty Division

ATLANTA-Brad Hill and Scott Smalling have been appointed to new positions within Simmons' specialty division.

Hill has been named senior vice president and general manager of specialty products North America, putting him in charge of the division. Smalling has become chief of specialty innovation, responsible for the development of new foam specialty products. Both executives report to Simmons' CEO, Gary Fazio.

The specialty division focuses on creating consumer demand, elevating brand awareness and driving growth and profitability for Simmons' specialty mattresses.

Before taking on his new post, Hill was program management officer for AOT Bedding Super Holdings, Simmons parent, in which he was responsible for strategic initiatives for greater efficiencies and cost savings. Smalling had been Simmons' president of specialty sleep since 2007, when he joined the company after Simmons acquired Comfor Products, where he was CEO. Comfor Products manufactured a line of foam mattresses that has evolved into Simmons' ComforPedic brand.
