Serta Slates Loyalty Program

Serta Teams with City of Hope to Support Cancer Research
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.-Serta is planning to unveil its Serta VIP Rewards consumer loyalty program in May.
The program will invite a shopper who purchases an iComfort or iSeries mattress to enroll and earn up to $1,000 toward his or her next Serta mattress purchase. A Serta VIP Rewards member will earn his or her first $100 toward the next mattress purchase in 120 days after registration, and will continue to earn an additional $100 per year, up to a total of $1,000. Rewards points may be redeemed at any time and turned into mail-in rebates on additional Serta mattress purchases. Enrollees will also receive ongoing emails from Serta reminding them of their reward-point totals and the name and location of the stores in which they purchased their mattresses.
These emails will also include special offers from Serta and select non-industry partners to promote continuous engagement with the consumer, a company statement said.
The program "presents a tremendous opportunity to drive more traffic and close more sales at premium price points," said Andrew Gross, Serta's senior vice president of marketing. It is also designed to promote ongoing consumer loyalty to Serta and to the retailers where members purchased their mattresses, Gross said.
