SSA Panel to Discuss Specialty Sleep Category at Las Vegas Market

FRIANT, Calif.-The Specialty Sleep Association (SSA) and the organizers of the Las Vegas Market will host a panel discussion at the market.

The panel will talk about how to create and manage a successful and profitable specialty sleep program at retail. It will consist of George Topping, vice president of merchandising for Innovative Mattress Solutions; Jeff Klein, president of Sleep etc.; Michael Nermon, president and CEO of Ergo Customized Comfort; Dave Chandler, Innomax's director of marketing; and Scott Smalling, chief of specialty innovation for Simmons. It will take place on Aug. 1 in room 344 of building C of the World Market Center.

Dale Read, SSA's president, described specialty sleep as "a hot growth category that both furniture dealers and bedding specialists want to be in on."
