Therapedic, Pure LatexBLISS Move to New High Point Showrooms

HIGH POINT, N.C.-Mattress manufacturers Therapedic and Pure LatexBLISS will be located in new and larger show spaces in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) for next month's High Point Market.

Therapedic, which had been exhibiting in Plaza Suites, will move to M-607 of the IHFC, doubling its show space to 4,846 square feet, according to an IHFC statement. Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic's president, said the new space allows the company to "go where the fish are" at market, and to present its new EcoGel mattress line in a less cluttered environment.

Pure LatexBLISS will move from M-535 in the IHFC to M-528, which will more than triple its space to 7,184 square feet. Kurt Ling, the manufacturer's CEO, said the move will make room for the company's growing line of luxury mattresses, bed pillows and mattress toppers. Pure LatexBLISS plans to spotlight two lower-priced collections, called Latex Hybrids, at next month's market.

The IHFC has added a number of mattress manufacturers in recent years, according to Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers, which owns and operates the IHFC along with other showroom spaces here and in Las Vegas. Among these are Anatomic Global, Classic Brands, Comfortaire, Five Star Mattress, Gold Bond, Hickory at Home, Jamison Bedding, Knickerbocker, Leggett & Platt, Magniflex, Paramount Sleep, Primo Bedding, Restonic Mattress, Serta, Simmons, South Bay International, Southerland, the Specialty Sleep Association, Spirit Sleep, Symbol Mattress, Ultra Comfort and Zedbed.
