House Beautiful Returns to San Francisco with 10th Annual ‘Kitchen of the Year’
April 11, 2017,
De la Cruz, who is known for his modern, timeless and inventive interiors, will celebrate the love of food and entertaining in the house at 2698 Pacific Avenue that is home to a busy family with eight school-aged children, including two sets of twins.
Included in three-part kitchen design are a main breakfast area, baking section and scullery. An adjacent mail/mudroom and dining area are also incorporated into the kitchen design. Among the appliances being used are the Thermador 60-inch Combination Steam Oven and Thermador’s new 36-inch refrigerator and freezer columns.
This is de la Cruz’s second Kitchen of the Year project: In 2015 he worked with Ken Fulk on the House Beautiful kitchen in New Orleans.
