IFDA to Hold ‘Rising Stars of Design’ Event

Ceremony will honor interior designers and a product designer

IFDAlogo3x2NEW YORK—The New York Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) will hold its 10th annual “Rising Stars of Design” awards ceremony here Nov. 15.

The event will take place at the New York Design Center, 200 Lexington Ave. Interior designers Jenny Dina Kirschner of JDK Interiors, Lindsay Boswell and Ali Levin of LABLstudio, and Lindsay Weiss and Noah Turkus of Weiss Turkus Projects, along with product designer Jessica Ahnert Davis, founder of Nest Studio, are this year’s honorees.

Rio Hamilton, a designer and luxury lifestyle expert, will serve as master of ceremonies. The event will begin with a cocktail reception 5:30 p.m. at Duc Duc, room 715, followed by the presentations at The New Traditionalists, room 701, at 6:15 p.m.
