International Presence to Expand at Gift Fair

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-The Israel Export Institute and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO New York) will enlarge their presence at the upcoming New York International Gift Fair.

The Israel Export Institute plans to expand beyond its current presence in the Gift Fair's General Gift division to feature a collection of Israeli handcrafts within the show's Handmade division. JETRO will increase the size of its pavilion within the General Gift division. Also, four independent Japanese exhibitors--Gallery 91, Inatome, Morihata International and Tanuma (a first-time exhibitor)--have formed an "Accent on Japan" consortium within the Gift Fair's Accent on Design division.

Overall, more than 300 international vendors from 46 countries will be exhibit at the Gift Fair. The show is scheduled to run from Saturday, Jan. 30 through Thursday, Feb. 4 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94.
