Abbyson Invests into Added Talent to Support Robust Retail Customer Growth and Product Demand

Los Angeles—Abbyson—one of the home furnishings industry fastest growing lifestyle brands—has added 35 plus new employees, including 14 new positions, to its company over the last 90 days, representing a 15 percent increase in its workforce over last year. Abbyson now has hundreds of U.S. employees based in its Southern California operation, serving its growing base of national retailers, e-commerce, and interior design accounts.
Employee growth is visible across virtually every department in the company, from warehousing and customer care, and order management and accounting, to sales and merchandising.
In a new senior management position, Steve Segvich has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, with deep experience serving such large companies as Disney, Baja Fresh, and Bath & Body Works. Segvich will report to Abbyson’s CEO, Yavar Rafieha, and is responsible for overseeing all financial reporting guiding the company’s operations towards $250M annual revenue.

Abbyson also owns and operates AbbySky, a company-exclusive upholstery factory. The vertically integrated factory covers over 3 million square feet of space, has 160 assembly lines, an R&D department producing over 45 new models every month, and a full quality control department. With AbbySky, Abbyson has complete control over the manufacturing process, sourcing of raw materials in order to add the highest quality of products.
Abbyson is gearing up for the Summer Las Vegas Market, July 30-Aug. 3, which features its new stunning and elegant showroom in a prime location on B1 (Building B, Showroom B-170.) This custom-built space accommodates a greater presentation of Abbyson’s growing product line and features a designer’s lounge, hospitality and espresso bars, and several private conference spaces.
