Pantone’s Pressman to Speak on 2016-2017 Color Trends

NEW YORK-Laurie Pressman, vice president of Pantone Color Institute, will deliver a presentation on the color trends expected for 2016-2017 to the New York chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association at the NY Now trade show.

The event is scheduled for Feb. 1. It will begin with a coffee, tea and networking session at 8:30 a.m., followed by the presentation from 9 to 10 a.m. It will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Room 1A02-03.

Pressman leads the business and creative strategy for the institute and the Pantone Fashion + Home product line. She is also involved in Pantone’s color research and trend forecasting. She has more than 20 years of experience in product development and merchandising for fashion and home furnishings brands, and for retailers including Federated Merchandising Group—now known as Macy’s Merchandising Group.
