Bon-Ton's Nemoir to Retire

MILWAUKEE-Mike Nemoir, senior vice president and general merchandise manager for men's and home at The Bon-Ton Stores, will retire effective March 28.

Nemoir's career at Bon-Ton goes back 45 years. He joined the Boston Store in 1968 as trainee assistant buyer. Throughout the years, Nemoir has held various positions including sales area manager, buyer, divisional sales manager and divisional merchandise manager, leading up to his promotion to general merchandise manager in 1995.

Throughout his tenure, the company has changed ownership and names several times: P.A. Bergner, Carson Pirie Scott, Proffitt's, Saks Inc. and Bon-Ton.

A successor has not yet been announced.
