Brooks to Vice Chairman, Rodbell to President in Hudson's Bay Restructuring
June 18, 2013,
TORONTO-In a revamping of its top-level executive structure, Hudson's Bay Co. has appointed Bonnie Brooks, its president, vice chairman and has designated Liz Rodbell to succeed her as president.
In her new role, Brooks will advise Richard Baker, chairman and CEO, and the retail company's board of directors. She will also continue to provide input into both the Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor businesses--which, along with home specialty store Home Outfitters, constitute the three retail holdings of the 343-year-old company.
Both Brooks and Rodbell report to Baker. The transition of each executive into her new role will begin today and will be completed by January 2014.
Baker said, "This new structure will continue to drive our long-term growth strategy, as we build upon the company's momentum toward revitalizing its banners and product offerings, and strengthening the customer experience."
