DALLAS-The Container Store has launched a Bridal Shower Guide that offers tips, ideas and inspiration for the "ultimate, organized shower." With the introduction of the guide, the retailer also kicks off a monthly contest where brides can win a $1,000 Store More Card, by creating a Pinterest Board called "The Organized Shower."

The guide is available in stores, online and via direct mail to select customers. It is supplemented online at containerstore.com/shower with more how-to's and suggestions for shower decorations, do-it-yourself party favors, free downloads, checklists and gift suggestions for three shower themes--kitchens, closets and travel.

"Brides and grooms are not only wanting showers that are creative, stylish and fun, but they are also looking for gifts that will help them blend their two households after the big day, keep their busy lives organized and help them save time after they say 'I do'," said Melissa Reiff, president and chief operating officer of The Container Store. "Our new inspirational shower guide gives friends and family of the happy couple wonderful new ideas and twists on the time-honored tradition of throwing a celebrated wedding shower."
