Dollar General to Open 625 Stores, Move Into New Territories in Fiscal 2011

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.-Dollar General has announced sweeping expansion plans for the coming fiscal year.
In fiscal 2011, the retailer said in a statement, it will open 625 new stores, which will include entry into three new states--Connecticut, Nevada and New Hampshire. Also, the company said it plans to remodel or relocate 550 of its current stores.
