Former Walmart Exec Dillman Named to Head IT at QVC

WEST CHESTER, Pa.-QVC has appointed former Walmart executive Linda Dillman as chief information officer.

In her new post, Dillman provides strategic oversight and direction for the design, development and implementation of technology solutions, oversees the day-to-day management of the U.S. and corporate information-technology operations, and helps set the direction of QVC's information-technology organizations around the world. She reports directly to Mike George, president and CEO.

Dillman served as an IT executive for Walmart from 1991 to 2009, eventually becoming executive vice president and chief information officer. She left the retailer to join HP as senior vice president of global IT.
