Gourley Tabbed to Head Home Merchandising at Shopko

GREEN BAY, Wis.-Shopko has named Craig Gourley senior vice president and general merchandise manager for home and hardlines.

Gourley has thus assumed charge over all aspects of merchandising for the home division, including developing strategies, negotiation vendor partnerships and managing the buying team. He reports to Jill Soltau, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.

Before joining Shopko, Gourley served as divisional vice president/divisional merchandise manager of home for J.C. Penney, in which he managed 60 percent of the retailer's home business. His career also includes merchandising positions with Macy's and the Foley's and D&F Department Store divisions of The May Co.
