Hannah Named CFO at J.C. Penney

PLANO, Texas-J.C. Penney has appointed Ken Hannah chief financial officer, succeeding Michael Dastugue, who left the company last month.

The move, which takes effect on May 7, puts Hannah in charge of the retailer's entire financial operations. He will also serve on the J.C. Penney executive team, and will report to Michael Kramer, chief operating officer.

Prior to this appointment, Hannah had spent the last six years at MEMC Electronic Materials, serving as president of solar energy and as chief financial officer. He has also served in financial positions with The Home Depot, Boeing, General Electric and McDonnell Douglas.
