Kohl's to Open Operations Center

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis.-Kohl's has signed a long-term lease agreement on a building for a new customer-operations center.

Located in San Antonio, Texas, the center is expected to open in July and measures 102,000 square feet. It will serve customers of both Kohl's Charge and kohls.com throughout the nation. Once the center is open, Kohl's will have three customer-operations centers, with the other two located here and in Corsicana, Texas.

The center will support the growth of both Kohl's Charge and kohls.com, which experienced revenue increases of 48 percent and 38 percent, respectively, in 2008 and 2009, according to a company statement.
