Lewis Resigns as Gordmans Chief Merchant
January 18, 2013,
OMAHA, Neb.-Johanna Lewis, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of Gordmans, has resigned effective immediately, according to an 8-K filing from the specialty retailer.
The filing went on to say that Michael Morand, executive vice president or planning, allocation and analysis, has assumed Lewis' merchandising responsibilities on an interim basis. Speaking on Wednesday at the ICR XChange Conference, Jeff Gordman, president and CEO, said Gordmans' long-term plan is to combine the planning and allocation functions with merchandising.
Morand has been with Gordmans since 2007, joining the company at that time as director of planning, allocation and analysis. Before joining Gordmans, he held senior merchandising, planning, allocation and marketing positions with May Dept. Stores Co. and Lord & Taylor.
