Martha Stewart Living Taps Execs for Business Development, Publishing and Digital

NEW YORK-Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO) has named three executives to positions in its business development sector, as well as one for finance and operations in its publishing and digital unit.

Russell Brown has been named senior vice president of consumer products licensing, responsible for developing and negotiating new merchandising opportunities for all MSLO brands. Charlie Tiersch has been appointed vice president of business development, in charge of expanding the company's presence in the digital space; and Colleen Nowers has been named assistant vice president of business development, focusing on forming new affiliations for MSLO's portfolio of media properties and brands.

In addition, Claudio Goldbarg has been named senior vice president of publishing and digital media operations, overseeing all the financial operations for the company's publishing business.

Before joining MSLO, Brown had worked for Marvel Entertainment and Iconix Brand Group. Tiersch and Nowers have joined the company from NBCUniversal. Goldbarg had held financial positions in various media companies, including DreamWorks.
