One Kings Lane Tastemaker Sale to Highlight Megan Yager Design

LOS ANGELES-Flash-sale site One Kings Lane and Traditional Home magazine kicked off their joint Tastemaker Tag Sales this month on the One Kings Lane website with a designer tag sale by Megan Rice Yager of Megan Yager Design. The second Tastemaker Tag Sale, slated for Sept. 17, will feature selections handpicked by Lauren Gold and Sasha Adler of Nate Berkus Associates.  The sales will continue on a bi-weekly schedule through the end of the year.

Yager, Gold and Adler were just a few of the interior designers recently selected as 2011 "New Traditionals," a hotlist of designers-to-watch created by Traditional Home. The New Traditionals were featured in the May issue of Traditional Home, and also in the inaugural issue of Trad Home, the new online shelter publication co-created by the editors of Traditional Home and Lonny.

For the Trad Home Tastemaker tag sales, select designers were chosen to create rooms and vignettes that will be photographed and brought to life on One Kings Lane. Each Trad Home Tastemaker Tag Sale will feature items from the designers' rooms, which will be available for purchase to the general public.

Andrea Stanford, general manager of designer sales for One Kings Lane, said, "We are thrilled to bring the vision and talents of the designers selected by Traditional Home to our customers.  The marriage of great content from Traditional Home, and the One Kings Lane unique shopping experience, provides our members with an exciting retail experience, including items previously only available to the private clients of designers."

Many expected 2016 would be a banner year, but the political and economic climate softened consumer confidence. It was also a year consumers spent more lavishly on home remodeling rather than decorating.
