Stein Named Big Lots Chief Customer Officer

Big Lots logoCOLUMBUS, Ohio-Big Lots has appointed Andrew Stein senior vice president and chief customer officer.

In his new role, Stein, oversees all areas of consumer engagement and customer messaging, including marketing, advertising, brand development and merchandise presentation. He also is in charge of furthering Big Lots' brand recognition through the retailer's Internet presence, digital marketing and social media, and its Buzz Club Rewards program. He reports directly to David Campisi, Big Lots' president and CEO.

Prior to joining Big Lots, Stein served in a number of marketing posts for Kmart, most recently as chief marketing officer, to which he was appointed in August 2011. His career also includes positions with IBM Global Business Consulting Services, Montgomery Ward, Foot Locker and Razorfish.
