The Shops at Target to Debut May 6
May 4, 2012,
MINNEAPOLIS-The launch of The Shops at Target, Target's concept of limited-time boutiques in stores and online, will take place on Sunday, May 6.
Announced in January, the concept involves partnerships with the owners of specialty stores and boutiques to co-create limited-edition collections of a variety of products for Target shoppers. In the upcoming first flight, one of the shops will be Privet House, a partnership with the Connecticut-based retailer of the same name, which offers furniture, artwork, home decor and accessories, and garden products. Each of the five shops will be open for six weeks.
