Tuesday Morning Boosts Sales for Q4, Fiscal Year

DALLAS-Tuesday Morning posted fourth-quarter sales of $202.1 million, up 2.9 percent, bringing its sales for the fiscal year to $838.3 million, an increase of 3.1 percent, according to a preliminary report from the closeout retailer.
Same-store sales for the quarter, which ended on June 30, rose 4.6 percent, comprising an increase of 6.2 percent in customer traffic offset by a 1.6 percent drop in average ticket. For the year, same-store sales gained 3.9 percent.
