Wayfair.com Tabs Fleisher as CFO

BOSTON-Michael Fleisher has been named chief financial officer of wayfair.com.

In his new position, Fleisher is in charge of the home furnishings website's financial affairs. He reports to Niraj Shah, CEO and co-founder of wayfair.com.

Fleisher succeeds Nicholas Malone, who has been named the site's chief administrative officer, overseeing finance, legal affairs, human resources and real estate. Malone reports to Fleisher in his new role.

Before joining wayfair.com, Fleisher was vice chairman of strategy and operations for Warner Music Group, overseeing global corporate strategy and operations. He led the sale of the company to Access Industries in a transaction valued at more than $3 billion. Prior to joining Warner Music Group, he was chairman and CEO of Gartner Inc. His career also includes positions at Bain Capital and Bain & Co.
