White Upped to Chief Merchandising Officer at Family Dollar

MATTHEWS, N.C.-Family Dollar has promoted Paul White to executive vice president and chief merchandising officer.
The move puts White, who joined the dollar-store retailer earlier this year as senior vice president of apparel, home and seasonal, in charge of Family Dollar's overall merchandising strategy. He reports directly to Michael Bloom, president and chief operating officer, and has succeeded Dorlisa Flur, who was promoted to vice chairwoman of strategy and chief administrative officer in the fall.
