Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market Presents Second Annual Gift for Life Reception

LAS VEGAS-The Gift for Life Charity Reception, "Up on the Roof," leads a large line-up entertainment and hospitality events at the upcoming Summer 2012 Las Vegas Market, July 30-Aug. 3.
Attendees are invited Tuesday, July 31 from 6-8 p.m. to enjoy cocktails, appetizers, live music, prizes and a breathtaking view of the glittering Las Vegas skyline--all for Gift for Life, the gift and home industries' national charity funding the fight against HIV/AIDS. All funds raised will benefit Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids (DIFFA). Last year, the Gift for Life Charity Reception raised more than $12,000. Tickets are available for pre-sale at www.diffa.org for $20 per person, and on-site ticket sales are available in the lobby of Building C on Monday, July 30, and Tuesday, July 31.
"While our primary goal is to ensure our attendees leave Las Vegas Market with new connections, sources, and inspiration for their business, it's also equally important that they enjoy themselves and feel a sense of community and camaraderie," said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift and Home Decor at International Market Centers, parent company of World Market Center Las Vegas. "Our team has been building out a compelling roster of programming and special events aimed at enhancing the experience for the gift retailer which has resulted in an unparalleled buyer attendance--and experience--for six consecutive markets. Gift for Life's "Up on The Roof" event is a wonderful opportunity to build support for DIFFA on the west coast while networking with fellow colleagues, along with the many other special events we are hosting throughout the week."
