SANTA FE, N.M.-Nambe has appointed board member Wayne Badovinus president and CEO. Badovinus succeeds Bob Varakian, who left the company in January.

Badovinus was the first CEO at Design Within Reach. He oversaw the modern design retailer for six years. He is also the former president and COO of Williams-Sonoma and former president and CEO of Eddie Bauer. "It is seldom the opportunity presents itself to work with a brand with design credibility like Nambe," Badovinus said.

"We are thrilled to have Wayne lead Nambe. Along with Wayne's business experience, he has a deep understanding of the Nambe brand and a passion for great design," said Board Chairman Dan Hillenbrand.
