Cuisinart, Best Brands Team Up for Kitchen Textiles

STAMFORD, Conn.--Cuisinart and Best Brands Consumer Products have reached an agreement for a line of kitchen textiles and tablecloths developed on behalf of Cuisinart.

The agreement gives Best Brands the exclusive rights to develop, design and manufacture the collection. The line is currently scheduled to appear at retailers in spring 2012.

In a statement from Conair, Cuisinart's parent company, Ron Diamond, the company's president, said given Cuisinart's standing in kitchen housewares, "a brand extension into textiles is a logical next step for the company."
