Forty One Madison Open for Biz During N.Y. Gift Show

NEW YORK-More than 40 of the permanent tabletop showrooms  at Forty One Madison Avenue will be open for business during NY Now (formerly the New York International Gift Fair), Aug. 17-21.

Forty One Madison will provide complimentary mini-coach shuttle service between its Madison and 26th Street location and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, where NY Now is held. The lobby display will be created by L'Objet, which is showing exclusively at Forty One Madison. And the building is joining with NY Now producer George Little Management, 230 Fifth Avenue and 7 West New York to offer attendees free admission to the Museum of the City of New York when they present their show badge. Founded in 1923, the museum celebrates and interprets the city, educating the public about its distinctive character, especially its heritage of diversity, opportunity and perpetual transformation. On view in August will be "Making Room: New Models for Housing New Yorkers," showcasing design solutions to better accommodate New York City's changing, and sometimes surprising, demographics.
