Global Amici to Debut Aerating Wine Glass

ATLANTA-Global Amici will launch its Aerator Wine Glass at the International Gift & Home Furnishings Market here next week.

The wine glass is produced in Italy with patented optic ridges on the inside of each glass that "agitate" the wine when the glass is rotated in a counter-clockwise direction, eliminating the need to decant the wine or wait for it to breathe, according to the company. The results are backed by scientific tests performed at the University of Rome in Italy, Global Amici said.

The oversized goblet, which can hold 18 ounces, comes in a gift box and retails for $19.99 for a set of two.
