Luigi Bormioli Signs Foodservice Pact

HORSHAM, Pa.-Glass maker Luigi Bormioli and Bauscher USA, a division of the German porcelain company, have formed a partnership, effective Feb. 1, 2013, whereby Luigi Bormioli products will be marketed and sold in North America exclusively through Bauscher to the foodservice market.

"Our fine quality products combined with the highest service level in the industry and Bauscher's leadership presence in their segment will provide distributors with a one-stop-shop for the best in tabletop."

Jeffrey Heaney, president of Bauscher USA, added, "Our brands are focused exclusively on upmarket hotels and restaurants. Luigi Bormioli is a logical addition as it shares consistent quality and service characteristics as our Bauscher, Hepp, Tafelstern, and WMF brands.
