New Year Brings New Opportunities at AmericasMart

ATLANTA--The New Year will bring new categories and new companies to the January 2011 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market with the launch of four new and newly re-branded product centers and the introduction of more than 500 names among the 2,500 companies in the Temporaries.

Debuting in the Market Temporaries are HD Home, a juried lifestyles collection featuring eight design-driven home furnishings and decor manufacturers; Birding & Backyard Nature, a collection of outdoor products and themed gifts for birding and nature enthusiasts; Global Designs, a "people positive" collection featuring artisan-quality, handmade crafts that reflect culturally meaningful designs and assist in the economic and environmental sustainability of global communities with product classifications such as organic, environmentally friendly, fair trade, purchase positive, sustainable and green; and Handmade Designs & Handmade Jewelry, a juried collection featuring design-oriented, original, handmade creations of glass, ceramics, textiles, fiber-art, sculptures, mixed media, functional art, lighting, decorative accents, ornaments, handmade jewelry, woodworking and turning.
