New York Tabletop Show Begins

NEW YORK-The newest dinnerware, glassware, flatware and other tabletop items will be unveiled here this week as the New York Tabletop Show gets underway.

Activity will be centered in permanent showroom buildings Forty One Madison Avenue, 7 W New York and 230 Fifth Avenue and in manufacturers' showrooms throughout the city.

Numerous evening events are also planned by individual companies.

On Wednesday morning Forty One Madison will host a breakfast seminar entitled "Through the Lens of the Red Bull's Eye: Market Trends in Home and Lifestyle," presented by Minda Gralnek, a former vice president and creative director for Target. The seminar will take place from 8:30-9:15 at Forty One Madison.

The show runs through Friday, Oct. 28.
