SAN FRANCISCO-One Kings Lane has teamed up with seven experts in design, fashion and food to offer limited-edition wrapping paper, with a portion of sales going to a charity of that designer's choice.
The participating celebrities and their charities are: Rachel Zoe, designer, stylist and fashion editor, for Save the Children; Rachel Roy, fashion designer and founder of RACHEL Rachel Roy, for OrphanAid Africa; Stacey Bendet, founder and designer of alice + olivia, for Girls Who Code; Charlotte Moss, interior designer, for The Bone Marrow Foundation; Simon Doonan, creative ambassador for Barneys New York, for The Lower East Side Girls Club; Lela Rose, fashion designer, for Edible Schoolyard; and Katie Lee, chef and author, for Feeding America.
From these trendsetters are 21 wrapping paper designs that include colorful patterns and collage-inspired designs to artful watercolors and whimsical sketches. Zoe's designs were the first to launch this week, in three patterns: printed snake, watercolor cheetah and wild forest.
"The holidays are such a special time of year, and giving gifts is my favorite part of the season," said Zoe. "For my One Kings Lane limited-edition gift wrap collection, I incorporated glamorous prints from the Rachel Zoe Collection with rich hues to add an unexpected element of style to your holiday gifts. Keeping with the holiday spirit of giving back, I'm thrilled that proceeds from sale will support an organization dear to my heart, Save the Children."
Roy added, "I was honored to partner with One Kings Lane to design holiday gift wrap to benefit an amazing cause, OrphanAid Africa. I love the holidays and incorporated my sense of nostalgia of favorite holiday traditions with effortless elegance to create something that gives back as you are giving."
