Rogaska Crystal has partnered with Italian luxury fashion designer Domenico Vacca on a crystal home and gift collection.

The first Domenico Vacca crystal collection, called The Julie Collection, will be the first of five that will be introduced this year. The Julie Collection is inspired by the iconic alligator Julie Bag designed in 2002 and named after Vacca's wife, Julie. "The design of the bag is so unique and recognizable that I thought it was the perfect design for a crystal vase and the bar and stemware collection," Vacca said in a statement. "The elegance and the sexiness as well as the round shape make the Julie bag an object of desire, and now the same shape will bring those two elements  to another level."

The Domenico Vacca Collection for Rogaska comes at a time when Vacca has become more involved in designing furniture and interiors. The designer recently launched the DV Club, a members-only club at the Setai Hotel in South Beach, Fla., and reportedly plans to open others in New York and Moscow. "We always wanted to cross the line of fashion and become more and more a lifestyle brand," Vacca said. "Our clients like our designs and the lifestyle concept of our brand and have been asking for more Domenico Vacca not only for their closets but in their homes, boats and planes."

Bostjan Leskovar, president of Rogaska America, said Vacca's understanding of luxury, quality and style are "unmatched in his and in our industry." The partnership enables Rogaska to challenge itself in the creative, technical and production process and the handmade collections will highlight the skills of its Slovenian craftsmen. "Domenico Vacca is known as the Ferrari of clothing and we at Rogaska are committed to making sure the Domenico Vacca Crystal Collection is known as the Ferrari of crystal," Leskovar said.
